The "Dogal Vintage Flat" has been in production since 1959. Its steel round core is wrapped with copper and a layer of a special metal alloy. The use of copper affects the string's tone. The result is distinctive round and warm timbre. After precision craftsmanship, each string is treated by hand to achieve the smoothest and most even surface – in order to increase playability and longevity.


For its magnetic components of high quality and the perfect manufacturing that make it soft and perfectly smooth, for the special metalchrome winding, the Dogal string for guitar-bass is, in absolute, the best that even the most exigent professionist can wish to obtain the typical tones of '60s and '70s.
